Under the Sun will be playing this Saturday April 9th at the Bay Landing in Prospect. It has been a while since we've been down to the Bay Landing and we are looking forward to it. Next week, Saturday April 16th we'll be back at Key Largos in Lower Sackville. The week after we make our triumphant return to the Copper Penny, we'll be playing both Friday and Saturday April 22 and 23rd. We hope to see you soon.
We had a great time at Club 5171 (formerly Merrill's) a couple of weeks ago, and are please to announce a couple more date additions to the schedule. UTS will be back at Club 5171 on Friday April 29 and Saturday April 30.

We had a great time at Club 5171 (formerly Merrill's) thanks to all who came out to party with us. Thank you to the SMU group and the Dalhousie Nursing students for coming out. We will be playing this weekend at Big Leagues in Dartmouth Friday and Saturday March 18 and 19th. We are very excited to be back at the Big Leagues. Next week, Saturday March 26, you can catch UTS at the newly renovated Key Largos in Lower Sackville. So this is a general call to all the Sackville High School grads to come on down and check the local boys out. In all the years that the band has been together we have never played in our own backyard.....this is our chance and we hope to see all y'all there.

Short notice we know, but please note that UTS will be playing at Club 5171 (formerly Merrill's) this Friday March 11. We just took the booking today. Some come on out downtown on a Friday and celebrate the end of the work week with Under the Sun...where better than Club 5171, it is totally redesigned with a massive dance floor, new stage ready for the fun to begin. Other good news from the UTS camp is that you may notice on the 'shows' page there are dates this spring and later in September at the Shore Club in Hubbards....a great venue....great spot for a party. We are very excited to pick up these venues and we hope we can continue to find new spots to play. We'll be back at Big Leagues next week on Friday and Saturday March 18/19. We have updated our 'setlist' to reflect recent additions to the song list.

Hi all , Under the Sun has been off for a couple of weeks. Hang in there we'll be back at the Copper Penny on February 18/19. We have updated our 'setlist' to reflect recent additions to the songlist. We will be adding more, infact we hope to have 4 new songs to play that weekend.
You can vote for your favorite bands on the Coast Survey. Perhaps with enough votes UTS might get a mention in the Coast...couldn't hurt.
Finally we will be getting a large banner with our logo to proudly display at gigs. We hope that it will demystify audience members wondering who the heck we are. It's about time...heh!

Hey guys and gals...it's that time of year again! Time for a Halloween Bash with UTS at the Copper Penny in Clayton Park! We have our costumes picked out and our material ready for the big party on Saturday night!
Get your costume together and come down to the Penny to have a great time with us! We will be playing both Friday and Saturday night at the Copper Penny. We hope you can make it out!
Our next gig will be at Curly Portables in Enfield on November 19th...very cool venue with lots of room to shake your booty! Check it out!!

Hey there folks...just wanted to let you know there has been a venue change for this upcoming weekend. Parkside has cancelled our gigs as well as all bands at their establishment for the time being...unfortunately for us it was very short notice I just heard today.
However the GOOD news is that we are still playing...we will be at Big Leagues this weekend in Cole Harbour, both Friday and Saturday night.

Hey folks just came off a great weekend at the Copper Penny we hope we saw you there. We had a few new tunes for y'all, we added some Lenny and some U2 and played the fun stuff.
The weekend before we played for our friends wedding, a great time was had by all. Congratulations Bobby-Ann and Pat.
This coming weekend we are playing a private function on Saturday night and we'll be returning to the Parkside Stage October 1st and 2nd! After that we are back at the Velvet Olive on October 15th, another great spot downtown!

Hi there everyone! UTS has been off for a couple of weeks but do not fear we have been learning more material for your listening pleasure (at least we hope).
Be sure and check us out at the Copper Penny June 25 and 26th .always a good time. We will be appearing at Curly's on Wednesday June 30 th headlining a triple band bill to usher in Canada Day celebrations.come on out and have a great time.
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to travel with us to the Pictou Lobster Carnival where we will be appearing on the waterfront in the BEvERage garden. We played this show last year and had a great time.

Hey Folks. I hope everyone is doing well. Last weekend we played a show in Stewiacke at Whistlers, according to the sign we were half way between the North Pole and the equator…I digress. We had some fun and we hope to be back there soon! I wanted to send this update to let you know that UTS will be at Big Leagues this Friday night only so come on out!! On a not so positive note the June 4th Big Leagues date has been cancelled. We will pick up some more gigs later throughout the year at Big Leagues!! Finally UTS will be on stage at Curly's Portable's in Enfield on Saturday June 6th…hope to see you all there!!

- Aug 13/14 at the Copper Penny (shows moved ahead one week)

Kevin Going Under the Knife
You may have noticed that we had to cancel our Big Leagues show. This was due to surgery that Kevin is scheduled for on Tuesday. We figured we'd give him a break and not ask him to sing while he was super medicated…no one said that we cannot be reasonable!
Seriously, Kevin is scheduled for knee surgery where he will have his ACL reconstructed. He has been waiting quite some time for this. To all those who would like to see us at Big Leagues we will be rescheduling the shows shortly. In the meantime please check the bands schedule on the website to find out where we will be playing next!
We will be off for approximately 3 weeks while Kevin recovers…may be back sooner…so in that time we plan to learn some more new songs. If you have any suggestions please forward them to us either through the guestbook or through our email accounts. Take care and we'll see you soon.
